Hair and smile

Hair transplant simulation with AI Edit

Fill a receding hairline or a thinning crown with natural-looking hair that matches the patient's colour and texture. Paint the area, generate, and the result is blended into the original photo.

How it is done

Hair transplant in three steps

  1. Choose Hair transplant

It is in the Hair group of AI Edit.

  2. Paint the crown, the hairline, or both

Paint exactly the area that should receive hair, slightly beyond it. Design the hairline you plan directly with the brush.

  3. Generate and apply

Review the result, then use Comparison and Animate to show it. Save the images for the patient file.

One click, under a minute

Each AI Edit procedure sends a fixed, carefully tuned instruction to the model. You choose the procedure and paint the area; you never write prompts.

Tips from practice

  • Paint the hairline you would actually design: the AI fills the shape you draw.
  • Profile and top views help patients understand crown coverage.
  • Use Comparison to show original and simulation side by side, and Animate to morph between them.

Questions

Hair transplant simulation: questions

What does an AI simulation cost?

AI Edit is the only feature charged per use, with AI credits (1 credit = 1 US dollar). Eye procedures can cost as little as $0.05; a full lower face and neck lift costs about $0.10 to $0.20. Every licence includes $1 of free AI credits, and failed generations are usually free.

Is the AI simulation sent to the cloud?

Only when you press Generate. Plastic Surgery Simulator sends a newly created copy of the painted area with a little surrounding context, directly to the AI provider. It never passes through our servers, it is set to expire 10 minutes after processing, and it is never used to train models. The rest of the photograph, its file name and its metadata stay on your computer. Read our image policy.
